Recognized as the premier east coast lacrosse recruiting showcase of the summer; Maryland Lacrosse Showcase is held on the last weekend in July, which is the last eligible weekend for Division 1 coaches to recruit until November. Last year our event had the Nations Elite (DI, DII, DIII) college coaches in attendance. Maryland Lacrosse Showcase’s unique set-up will allow athletes to get the last look of the summer
The Maryland Lacrosse Showcase provides athletes with the highest level of exposure and instruction from top college coaches. The event is open to graduates of 2021-2024.
Format
Format: All players will be placed on a team by our staff and compete in full field games. Games will be 20 minutes halves with a 3 minute halftime.

Refund Policy
- No team will receive a full refund.
- Partial refunds will be issued if the tournament is canceled in a whole.
- Teams who have completed two or more games are not eligible for a refund and forfeit 100% of their registration fee
- Teams who have completed less than two games will receive a refund of their balance paid above the non-refundable deposit.
- No refund of any kind for any team that registers and withdrawals
- No refunds will be issued if the tournament is shortened in part for any reason, including inclement weather or any other “Act of God.”
- No refunds will be issued for playoff or championship games are canceled/shortened due to weather.
- No refund for any team that is removed from the tournament by the tournament director for using illegal players or behavior that requires the team to be removed from the tournament.
- Maryland Lacrosse Showcase LLC., its officers, employees, and staff will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by any team, club or organization if the tournament is canceled in whole or in part. The Tournament along with local County or school officials reserve the right to decide on all matters pertaining to the operation of the tournament and its judgment is final.
Rules
- Two 20 minute running halves. 2-minute halftime.
- Time will be kept on the scoreboard. Penalty time will be kept at the field table.
- All games running time
- One 30 second timeout per game (Clock Runs).
- Time Outs: can only be called in the offensive zone or during a dead ball.
- Penalty time is running time. If the clock stops for timeout, penalty time stops.
- Faceoff: 3 illegal procedures in a half by a team results in a 30-second penalty.
- All counts in effect.
- Back Court rules in effect. After the offensive team touches the ball in the offensive zone, the ball cannot cross the midline.
- Overtime: Each team is allowed 1 time out during playoffs ONLY (Clock Stops)
- Non-Playoff game: Braveheart. 2 Field Players and 1 Goalie
- Playoff game: continuous 4 minute sudden victory periods until there is a winner. Switch sides immediately and continue play
- No player may compete, or be rostered, on more than one team during the tournament. Anyone found in violation of this will forfeit their games.

Sportsmanship

Any team member who is ejected from the game will be prohibited from competing in the team’s next game.
- Any fighting or flagrant disrespect toward any tournament participant (refs, opponents, fans, directors, field workers) will not be tolerated and will result in no refund
- Spectators may not enter the field. Only tournament officials, workers, players and coaches are allowed
